About LisaFor my PhD project I study how individuals update their beliefs about their interaction partners during repeated social interactions by combining paradigms from experimental economics and social neuroscience. Specifically I aim for a deeper understanding of the neurophysiological and neurochemical mechanisms underlying trust behaviour during those interactions.

Background
|
I did my bachelor in Social Psychology, and my master in Social and Health Psychology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. During my studies I did multiple internships at Prof Dr Jack van Honk´s lab. After 5 happy years in the Netherlands, I moved to South Africa for a year, where I worked as a research assistant for Prof Dr Jack van Honk and Dr Susan Malcolm-Smith at the Psychology department at the University of Cape Town. In the autumn of 2014 I moved to Vienna to start my PhD at the NBU.
